The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and great running smoothness with longitudinally slotted lugs for more grippy edges. 3C Maxx Grip (DH): Superior racing preformce due to three different rubber compounds in different positions in the tread. The base layer provides low rolling resistance and satability of the tread lugs. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely cushioned compound on the shoulder lugs provides the best possible cornering grip.
Wide Trail Casing: Maxxis' Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and shape for wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and get on wider Flegen too angular shape and thus no optimal Preformance. WT tires are optimized for a rim width of 35 mm, but also work for all rims with an inner dimension between 30 - 40 mm.
Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
