Description
The Marathon Plus is a Schwalbe classic and one of the most long-suffering tires on the market.
The SmartGuard® insert made of highly elastic special rubber is particularly strong. It offers permanent resistance to entrenched foreign objects, such as shards and granules. Even an inserted staple cannot pierce the protective layer. The SmartGuard® insert has no rolling resistance. The Marathon Plus rolls as easily as a tire without a protective belt! The Marathon Plus is the best choice for e-bikes (E-25) due to its excellent properties. The most important sizes are also tested and approved for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50).
Note: Be sure to use a pressure gauge to adjust the air pressure on the Marathon Plus. Due to the special construction, a pressure test by thumb is not sufficient.

"Macht einen robusten Eindruck"
Der Marathon Plus macht einen noch robusteren Eindruck, vor allem die Flanke ist stabiler. Er rollt bisher sehr unauffällig. Ob die Pannenschutzeinlage hält, was sie verspricht, wird sich zeigen, aber nach den Erfahrungen mit dem Marathon Racer bin ich optimistisch. Montage war bei mir auf den Originalfelgen unproblematisch, auch wenn er strammer sitzt als andere Reifen.
