The Marathon Plus is a Schwalbe classic and one of the most resilient tires on the market.
The SmartGuard® insert made of highly elastic special rubber is particularly strong. It offers lasting resistance to embedded foreign objects, such as shards and granules. Even an embedded thumbtack cannot penetrate the protective layer. The SmartGuard® insert is rolling resistance neutral. The Marathon Plus rolls as easily as a tire without a protective belt! Due to its excellent properties, the Marathon Plus is the best choice for e-bikes (E-25). The most important sizes are also tested and approved for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50).
Note: Be sure to use a pressure gauge to set the air pressure on the Marathon Plus. Due to its special construction, a thumb pressure check is not sufficient.
