Against seat discomfort
The ergonomic touring saddle specifically for men: thanks to orthopedic comfort foam and large gel pads you always sit comfortably even on long distances. Saddle shape and relief channel are precisely adapted to the male anatomy and take pressure off the sensitive perineal area.
YOUR SOFA SADDLE
- Rightly comfortable
- As a touring cyclist, you sit slightly inclined to upright on the saddle. For these typical postures, we have developed the shape of the ST Gel.
- The flat, even contact surface of the saddle, on which your body weight rests, also contributes significantly to the prevention of seat discomfort, numbness and other discomfort - ideally supported by the orthopedic comfort foam with gel pads. You sit comfortably like on a sofa: so you feel good at all times, even on long tours.
The feel-good formula
- Thoughtful components
- To protect you from seat discomfort to the maximum, the Ergon developers have combined several important components in the ST Gel: the construction of the seat surface, the structure of the seat cushion, the specifically pronounced relief channel and a seat shell optimal for touring. For this we use a nylon composite material - other manufacturers use polypropylene here, which, however, provides lower support force.

- The secret of the narrow nose
- The most beautiful bike ride is only really fun when nothing presses or chafes along the way. If the thighs rub against the saddle when pedaling, the fun is often quickly over. We have also taken this into account in the development of the ST Gel: The saddle nose is cut narrow and thus offers you the best possible legroom while cycling.
ORTHOPEDIC FOAM
- Comfortable and robust
- The ST Gel's cushion is made of orthopedic comfort foam, which we have tuned to be comfortably soft yet defined for touring riders. The pressure of body weight on the seat area is distributed much better in conjunction with the large gel pads, the support force is increased. Wearing cycling shorts is not absolutely necessary. The saddle is covered with robust microfiber, so that even frequent riders have lasting pleasure with the ST Gel.
