Hope Tech 3 V4 Disc Brake - purple
The new Tech 3 brake lever replaces the Tech Evo brake lever. Hope has tried to keep the benefits of the Tech Evo brake lever but to improve the ergonomics and integration of gear levers on the handlebars.
The Tech 3 brake lever works with all current calipers and is 5% more powerful than the Tech Evo lever. You can still adjust the lever width and the pressure point and the piston is operated by means of a cam and a roller system, so that the lever can be pulled without free travel and clamping parts. The two-piece clamp for attachment to the handlebar simplifies assembly, since you do not have to remove anything from the handlebar to grow it.
Some of Hope's customers considered the Tech and Tech Evo brake levers to be relatively bulky and found it hard to find room on the handlebars where they had to mount triggers for rear derailleur, front and rear suspension, and adjustable seat post. For this reason, Hope has struggled with the Tech 3 to a brake lever, which integrates easily with the other triggers and remotes. The brake lever is no longer identical for left and right as a result of this design. The Tech 3 can be combined without the special lever clamp with the Shimano I-Spec Trigger. For SRAM, there is a filigree and inconspicuous lever clamp as retrofit part.
V4 Brake Caliper: Advanced one-piece caliper machined from one piece of 2014 T6 aluminum. The increased stiffness of the V4 caliper optimizes the braking performance and the larger pad surface provides better heat dissipation and reduced wear of the pads. The V4 with adapter and washers is lighter than its predecessor, the V2 brake. Discs: The V4 brake works with the conventional floating disc or the V4 ventilated disc. The ventilated disc allows superior braking performance. The concept is identical to our floating discs, but with the ventilated discs, the air can circulate between the two braking surfaces. It has been found in laboratory tests that a ventilated disc remains up to 15% cooler than a conventional floating disc. In addition, the braking force is improved in the wet, because the water can flow through the braking surfaces. The ventilated disc is the best choice for mountain bikers who want to ski longer and steeper.

!!!Hanmer Bremse !!!
Absoluter Wahnsinn die Bremse! Kein Fading, kein Druckpunkt Verlust. Selbst bei langen Abfahrten im Schnee funktioniert sie ohne Probleme
Top Bremse. Ich kenne keine bessere.
