When Lizard Skins was founded in Utah in 1993, the owner set out to develop all kinds of accessoires that made the life of the then young and budding mountain bike community safer and also more comfortable. But ever since the sales of grips made from Durasoft Polymer (DSP) went through the roof, all other products became of lesser interest. Lizard Skin’s lock-on grips and slide-on grips and their handlebar tape is pretty much the best stuff for you to get your hands upon. DSP combines all the advantages that rubber has to offer, but without feeling, well ... rubbery in your hands.

It did not take long for word to spread, so Lizards Skin’s reputation began to build even outside the bike community. These days their products are everywhere, where a good grip is vital.
