Description
The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between fast XC tire and trail tire. Its tread is medium high, the center lugs are narrow but leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are beveled for lower rolling resistance. The side lugs are angled and offset and bite into the ground when cornering. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-around use and on the trails.
The Exo Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.
With the dual compound mixture, two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
