Description
Light up the other riders as you pull away from them with the Torch. In the 30-second full-throttle sprint you have to use every advantage. The Torch's light weight, 120 TPI casing, and tread pattern tuned for firm trails can give you the inches you need.
The eXCeption specification includes fine-threaded carcasses (120 TPI) and a specific compound combination that is lightweight and very durable, offers excellent grip in wet and dry conditions, and has very low rolling resistance. This is what all Maxxis top XC MTB and BMX tires are equipped with.
The MPC Maxxis Performance Compound is Maxxis' all-round compound. This rubber compound also benefits from the development expertise of the world's largest bicycle tire manufacturer and impresses in daily use with very long life, grip and maximum reliability.
Silkworm is a protective layer developed by Maxxis that lies under the tread and protects the tire from punctures, cracks and other carcass injuries.
