The new Reverse ''Base'' was developed to meet the high loads of the component ''Stem''. The stiff 6061 aluminum block is machined (CNC milled) for maximum stiffness while every effort has been made to reduce unnecessary weight.

Eine 170mm Gabel hält das Teil bei stärksten Beanspruchungen. Der alte Vorbau hat sich trotz vorgeschriebenem Drehmoment immer wieder gegen die Ahead-Kappe schieben lassen, wodurch im, in diesem Fall vollintegrietertem Steuersatz Spiel entstanden ist. Habe auf Abhilfe gehofft durch eine größere Klemmhöhe und mehr Anzugsdrehmoment. Der Base erfüllt diese Erwartungen, sieht geil aus und macht Bock auf eine 180er Gabel.
