Gravel bikes and gravel riders have developed in many different directions. With the Advanced SL X.R. 36 Gravel wheelset made of carbon, we expand our off-road wheel line. On one hand for all gravel bikes with race genes that like to switch between asphalt, field, and gravel paths with speed, and on the other hand for all those who want to give their gravel bike more style with a 36 millimetre high carbon rim.

While our X.R. 25 wheelset (optionally with aluminium or carbon rim) is the first choice for touring riders, bikepackers, and all gravel bikers for whom low weight and maximum riding comfort are paramount, the Advanced SL X.R. 36 carbon set is designed for performance. The higher stiffness of the carbon rim is immediately noticeable with every acceleration and in the liveliness of the bike. Moreover, the lightweight hookless carbon rim is significantly more aerodynamic and faster than flat profiles. The robust, 24 mm wide rims harmonise perfectly with the widths of current Gravel tyres. Despite a maximum system weight of 130 kg, the modern Gravel set weighs just 1390 grams. The X.R.36 also features our unique integrated STREEM Aero valve. An optical highlight, where the valve is completely hidden in the rim and works both with a tubeless setup and traditionally with a tube.

Each Advanced SL X.R.36 Gravel wheel is delivered with a complete Streem Aero valve kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape, and Milkit tubeless sealant.
