For every application, the right bike is something only a few (E-)mountain bikers can afford. There are now several ways to optimise the same bike for local rides, long Alpine tours, or bike park sessions: tuning measures such as flip chips on the frame or a second, robust wheelset make it possible. For these versatile and demanding mountain bikers, Newmen raises the bar with the VariGrip system, offering easy handlebar width tuning for any application. The unique and innovative system allows for stepless handlebar width adjustment of up to 50 mm.
  
Smart and simple were the goals in developing the VariGrip system. It was implemented through two threaded pieces that are firmly laminated into the handlebar and grip. This allows the grip to be adjusted steplessly by 25 mm on each side. Additionally, the handlebar ends on Newmen VGS handlebars feature special and reinforced threaded sleeves that provide the necessary stability even at maximum handlebar width. A scale with 5 mm increments on the handlebar and the grip clamp with a 3 mm Allen key enable easy and secure adjustment even on rough terrain. The Advanced VariGrip carbon handlebar is perfect for bikers who like to experiment with different widths, for rental bikes, and demo bike fleets. It works only with Newmen VariGrip grips.
