CeramicSpeed BB90 bottom bracket Trek SRAM GXP

Trek has developed its own bottom bracket standard to optimise frame constructions. BB90 has a shell width of 90.5 mm and an inner diameter of 37 mm and is designed so that the bearings can be hidden by external cups in the frame.

The CeramicSpeed set is supplied as two bearings that are then pressed into the frame. These two bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed standard or coated bearings. Both feature super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed balls that run in hardened steel rings. The coated version has a metallic coating on the rings, making them even smoother and harder, resulting in longer lifespan and lower friction resistance.
