Danny MacAskill only talks about e-bikes now. He just doesn't stop. Only when he gets on his bike does the enthusiasm quiet down. Then he cheers and whoops. And he rides and rides and rides. That's why we built the Heckler the way it is. It goes further, faster, and longer, making it even more fun.

The latest generation of the Heckler features a removable battery with a higher capacity (720 Wh instead of 504 Wh). This expands the possibilities and makes more and more remote trails accessible.

The riding characteristics on the trail define all our bikes. Here, we make no compromises even with e-bikes. We have designed the carbon layup and frame geometry to be particularly robust to absorb the high forces cleanly and guarantee long-lasting riding pleasure. At the same time, the bike remains competitively light. And sensibly and uncompromisingly well-equipped. So you should worry more about the encroaching darkness than potential defects. The geometry has been refined through countless test rides and optimised for riding fun - uphill and downhill. Our legendary VPP rear suspension is tuned for the E-Bike application. Smaller anti-squat values than our classic trail bikes provide comfort and traction on technical climbs. 150mm of rear travel (and 160mm of front travel) is the ideal setup for long days on the trails.

The new Heckler is available with both MX wheels and in a pure 29er setup. The wheel size is not the only choice. The bike is available in both wheel versions in sizes M - XXL. The frame size S comes as a pure 27.5" version. Additionally, you now have the choice between our two carbon qualities ("C Carbon" and "CC Carbon") based on the equipment variants.

The only question we still ask ourselves is: How do we ever get Danny off his Heckler?

Full carbon frame made from C and CC Carbon

Our CC carbon frames use the best materials and latest manufacturing processes. Our C frames achieve the same stability and stiffness. They just exchange a bit more weight for a slightly lower price. Both versions are manufactured in our own factory and come with our lifetime warranty.

Removable 720 Wh battery

The battery is removed and replaced using an internal hex wrench. It can be conveniently charged without the bike or replaced with a second battery on particularly long tours.

Shimano EP8 motor

The new Shimano EP8 motor is lightweight, powerful, and efficient. It is the right choice for long and heavy tours.

Steel spring and water

Large-volume dampers and always a water bottle fit into the frame.

Nice details

Details that round off the bike include the small shield for the damper, the clean and simple cable routing, and a rubberised down tube protector.

Geometry

The latest Heckler has a longer reach and a flatter head angle than its predecessors. On the 445mm short rear triangle, uphill traction and downhill performance merge.

The full range from S to XXL

The 29" and MX versions are available in sizes M - XXL. Frame size S comes with 27.5" wheels front and rear.
