Description
As the fastest aero helmet ever tested in the “Bike Valley” wind tunnel, the ADWATT is in a class of its own. In close collaboration with the current TT European Champion Victor Campenaerts and the HJC engineers, the helmet was tested and developed in the Belgian wind tunnel until all parties involved were more than satisfied with the result. Thanks to the curved design, the helmet delivers fantastic and almost identical aerodynamic measurements with and without visor. At the same time, the Venturi Dynamics System ensures maximum ventilation.

Features:
The skeleton of the helmet, which is designed to preserve the structure of the helmet in the event of an impact, is firmly connected to the EPS. It not only holds the helmet together but also provides support in the event of an impact.
Air Channels are our air channels that run through the inner area of the helmet. Depending on speed, cold air flows through the front openings, glides through the Air Channels, and carries warm air out through the rear openings. Optimal air circulation inside the helmet cools the head during riding.
An In-Mold construction refers to the merging of EPS material with the outer polycarbonate shell. This results in a clean finish and a significantly firmer structure, thus providing more safety and stiffness.
HJC road cycle helmets are characterised by their particularly lightweight construction. All materials, their composition, and thickness are optimised in many tests so that the smallest possible helmet weight is achieved while providing maximum protection for the brain.
To guarantee high-quality standards, HJC helmets undergo constant testing, both in the lab and under real conditions. HJC is one of the few companies that can afford to own one of the most modern wind tunnel testing facilities. Here we can simulate all conceivable riding situations, both for motorcycles and high-end road bike helmets.
To achieve an absolute maximum of ventilation, our aerodynamically optimised helmets all follow the Bernoulli principle. The flow pressure generated in motion increases towards the rear. The heat generated is directed outwards through the rear ventilation channels by the cold air flowing in from the front. This effect ensures an optimally ventilated helmet.
The experience from the motorcycle sector allows the HJC designers and developers to become true experts when it comes to perfect aerodynamic and wind-ventilated helmets. Achieving a balance between the shape of the helmet and the lowest possible wind resistance requires years of development and knowledge about the behaviour of air flows. Thanks to our experience in helmet manufacturing, HJC products continually redefine the standards in terms of aerodynamics.
X-static
X-STATIC is produced by permanently bonding 99.9% metallic silver with fibre material. Just silver, no nanotechnology or complex chemical formula. Thanks to the lasting effect of X-Static, sportswear still smells fresh even after multiple wears.
