NEON is a lightweight urban helmet that protects you in accidents at speeds of up to 45 km/h (certified to safety standard NTA8776). It features a clear design and comprehensive ventilation with an integrated rear light, Mips®, and a FIDLOCK magnetic closure for added safety and comfort. It is a great mid-range option and fully compatible with the UNIT 1 ecosystem: indicators, brake lights, speed visors, winter liners, and even the signature crash alert technology. The NEON line introduces the first intelligent helmets with modular construction, making it the most environmentally friendly choice on the market.

NTA8776
The NTA-8776, commonly referred to as E-Bike helmet certification, is a Dutch safety standard that certifies helmets for improved protection at higher impact speeds (up to 45 km/h) and covers a larger area of the head. Although not mandatory, UNIT 1 certifies the latest helmets to the NTA-8776 standard to ensure robust impact protection, regardless of your speed.

Lightlink
Bicycle lighting should not operate in isolation and create a confusing mess of random blinking signals. Lightlink, the proprietary technology, connects all devices and synchronizes multiple lights to work together as a unit. This ensures even, consistent illumination of your surroundings, improves your visibility in traffic, and makes your signals unmistakable.

Crash Alert
The crash alert technology detects an accident. If you do not respond, it sends an SOS emergency call with your location to your emergency contact. Sensors in the helmet detect a serious accident and trigger a safety countdown in the UNIT 1 app. If you do not respond to this countdown, an SOS text message with your location is immediately sent to a pre-configured emergency contact.

Safety ID
With the safety ID technology, you can store important information in the NFC tag of your helmet, allowing first responders to quickly access important medical data in emergencies and easily contact you if you lose your helmet. Create your safety ID in the UNIT 1 app to transfer important information to the NFC tag of your helmet (on top of the helmet). The information can be retrieved by scanning the tag with any NFC-capable reader. (No special app required.)
