Gates QR Snubber, belt damper

The QR Snubber belt damper from Gates serves to guide the belt on the rear pulley and prevents the carbon belt from skipping on the teeth. Skipping of the belt can damage its internal carbon structure, which can lead to tearing during operation. When using the Gates Carbon Drive system with a Rohloff hub, the use of a snubber from the company Rohloff is mandatory.

This version is for mounting on a conventional quick release. It is compatible with all conventional hub gear systems and can be adjusted to the respective belt line using washers.

The Snubber Spacer Kit (CDESK) is required for installation over 142 mm.
