The Schwalbe Motion Road Cruiser Plus is the entry-level tyre for urban bikes. With its low rolling resistance profile, it takes you smoothly through urban life. The highlight of the Motion Road Cruiser is its eco-friendly rubber compound: Our Green Compound is made exclusively from renewable and recycled raw materials and is used in all Road Cruisers with a black tread.

The subtle tread design harmoniously integrates into the overall look of your city bike and ensures a clean appearance day in, day out. The Motion Road Cruiser Plus offers you extra puncture protection. This means you are better protected from punctures and cuts, arriving at your destination confidently and worry-free.

Good visibility in city traffic

To ensure you are seen better on your rides, many versions of the Schwalbe Motion Road Cruiser are equipped with a side reflective strip. The reflective strip significantly increases your visibility in road traffic and replaces the spoke reflectors according to StVZO.

The eco-friendly Green Compound

The Motion Road Cruiser models with black tread use our Green Compound as tread rubber. It improves the performance and durability of the tyre while being particularly environmentally friendly. The Green Compound is our most sustainable rubber mixture and is made from polymers that consist exclusively of renewable and recycled raw materials.

Low rolling resistance

The profile of the Motion Road Cruiser is designed for low rolling resistance. In the centre, a nearly continuous tread ensures particularly fast rolling. On the sides, a micro profile improves grip, especially in wet corners.

The right air pressure

To ensure your Road Cruiser lasts long and you move quickly, you should choose the right air pressure – and check it regularly. A precise gauge on the pump helps you with this. The air pressure affects how comfortably and easily your bike rolls. On the tyre, you will find a recommendation for the minimum and maximum – within this range lies your optimal tyre pressure.
