The Scorpion™ E-MTB series sets new standards in durability, puncture protection, and battery saving. The Scorpion E-MTB is available in three variants. Three tread patterns: M and R for the best dirt terrain, and S for loose and muddy Enduro tracks and steep terrain. A complete range for all eventualities. The innovative and patented HyperWALL construction, which was adapted from the Pirelli motocross tyre, is perfectly tailored to the needs of an e-MTB. The Scorpion E-MTB is characterised by its very good ride quality and reliability, especially at low tyre pressure. The newly developed SmartGrip Gravity compound, in combination with the material "Lignin" (which is naturally extracted from the paper industry process), tolerates higher loads and torques, thus enabling: better performance, longer lifespan, and more riding fun on your E-MTB.

Tread
The medium-high knobs and spacing are designed for optimal grip and rolling behaviour on dry or wet terrain. The SCORPION ENDURO M, with its SmartGRIP Gravity compound, is the first choice for trails where the ground can vary and a high level of grip is essential. The carcass of the SCORPION E-MTB M is equipped with a HyperWALL construction for maximum stability, making it a true all-rounder.

Compound - SmartGRIP Gravity
Pirelli developed this compound to meet the demands of modern riding styles, where higher speeds and more powerful bikes require softer self-damping and controlled feedback.

Based on the properties of Lignin, a natural chemical component that arises from the recycling of waste paper and is patented by Pirelli, it offers all the advantages of its XC-oriented counterpart, the classic SmartGRIP compound, but combines them in a softer durometer package.

Lignin is not only a naturally occurring additive but also improves the mechanical properties of the rubber, leading to higher stability than any other composition with the same robustness.

This improvement does not come at the expense of the other properties of the SmartGRIP compound mixtures, namely chemical adhesion: The rider benefits from consistent tyre performance throughout its entire lifespan, even under the higher loads that occur, for example, during downhill riding. These properties together enabled the technicians at Pirelli to develop a rubber mixture that enhances both rolling behaviour and grip and reliability ht, simultaneously. All of this makes the bike lighter, faster, and better to control. In fewer words: more fun!

HyperWALL
A newly designed, patented construction that further enhances handling and reduces the risk of pinch flats. The key for off-road use. Especially for the most demanding applications like Gravity and eMTB, the integrity of the bead area and the stability of the sidewalls are a cornerstone for tyre performance.
