Description
The new Seek was developed for one reason: to revolutionise the riding experience for children on the road and to give them the same feeling of speed, efficiency, and control that adult road cyclists enjoy. To achieve this, we have designed, developed, and specifically built a new range of bikes that stands out from previous Giant road bikes for children and youth and sets a new standard in this category.
Light and Agile
The Seek features a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with slimmer frame tubes, specifically designed for young riders. The frame and carbon fork provide a dynamic ride quality by absorbing road bumps and allowing for precise steering.
Youth-Optimised Components
The cockpit is designed so that smaller riders can ride with more efficiency and control on the road. The Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar has a special shape with a shorter reach (62mm) and drop (100 mm) than normal handlebars for adults. The brake levers are also made for smaller hands, with a reach that is 35% shorter from the drop and 30% shorter from the brake grips. The outer diameter of the brake grips is 20% smaller, and the flared shape of the levers makes them more ergonomic for small hands.
Easy Adjustment
The Seek is designed for children from 130 to 150 cm and can be easily adjusted as the young riders grow and gain more experience on the road. From beginner to junior racer, it is an adaptable road bike that grows with the rider. In addition to the specially designed frame with smaller diameter tubes, the Seek features a seat post with a height indicator that makes adjusting the saddle height intuitive and easy.
