Restrap Switch Rack - black

We have applied all the principles of technical minimalism that characterise the Restrap luggage series to our Switch Rack: lightweight construction, durable materials, and quick and easy assembly and disassembly.

The heart of the Restrap Switch System; the Switch Rack is compatible with the Restrap Switch Panniers and all other Switch Multimount products, as well as with any product or accessory that uses 64 mm mounting points, such as bottle holders, etc.

All mounting screws are included.

Which axle do you need?

• All Switch Racks come with one axle. This is intended to replace the existing axle. It is compatible with 142 mm and 148 mm (Boost) hub widths and comes with spacers to adjust the fit.
• It is essential to use the correct thread pitch for your frame.
• To determine the correct thread pitch, remove your current axle. Many axles have the thread pitch directly marked on the axle. It will be either 1 mm, 1.5 mm, or 1.75 mm.
• If it is not marked on the axle, you will need a ruler. Count ten threads from the end of the axle and measure the distance. If it is 1 cm, you have a thread pitch of 1 mm. 1.5 cm = 1.5 mm thread pitch, 1.75 cm = 1.75 mm.

Compatibility:

• Only compatible with bikes with a 12 mm diameter thru-axle
• Compatible with bikes with 142 mm or 148 mm (Boost) hub widths
• Not intended for use with full-suspension frames
• IMPORTANT – ensure that the thread pitch of the axle matches your bike. Do not attempt to install it without the correct thread pitch.
• UDH – bikes with a UDH derailleur hanger require a Restrap Switch UDH adapter (sold separately)
• SRAM Transmission / T-Type Direct-Mount derailleurs require a Restrap Switch Full Mount adapter (sold separately)
