System Optimization
The frameset, wheels, cockpit, and other parts are developed and tested together to function as a system. The brand-new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and a Contact SL handlebar to integrate internal cable routing that unifies the top cap, cables, and spacers in a more aerodynamic, user-friendly configuration.
Winning Efficiency
With a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the last generation, new aerodynamic tube shapes, and a lower overall weight, this uncompromising road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedalling stiffness. The result is winning performance in critical moments.
Integrated Aerodynamics
All tube shapes are developed using CFD modelling (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and component integration, a more streamlined profile emerges that improves overall aerodynamic performance compared to the previous generation.
