The lightest brake from Hope now offers even more options for customization. No matter what mount your frame/fork has.

After the discontinuation of the Hope Race brake, here comes the successor, the new lightweight XC disc brake with carbon brake lever and titanium screws. For durability, it comes anodised and machined in typical Hope style.

Hope has expanded the XCR range with the E4 brake caliper, which improves performance and adds a downcountry touch.

This means that the XCR brake is now suitable for a range of options, from cross-country race machines to more demanding trail bikes.

XCR Pro

The minimal, radially arranged master cylinder retains our simple bleeding process with its conventional reservoir, yet still offers reach adjustment and a new folding handlebar clamp for low weight and easy installation. The lever bushings reduce friction and provide super light lever action, finished with a carbon lever.

E4

The E4 brake caliper uses hybrid pistons made of stainless steel with a phenolic insert. This allows for smoother movement and less maintenance while being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer under extreme loads. The package includes race pads. They are designed to deliver impressive performance right out of the box and require minimal break-in time; they are also more durable than conventional organic pads.
