The rim is slightly more curved than its predecessor and now has an outer width of 30 mm, an internal width of 25 mm and a height of 40 mm. This shape reduces air resistance and creates a smoother transition between rim and tyre, giving aerodynamic efficiency a real boost. The wide rim width also ensures a more stable tyre fit, further reducing rolling resistance. The combination of a wider tyre, larger volume and lower air pressure helps riders immensely save energy. The tyre and wheel absorb the vibrations, not the rider. In the centre of the wheels, durable, versatile and new hubs, the ZR1 DB developed in Germany, spin. With 66 engagement points, they click in noticeably faster.
