The heart of the Acolyte derailleur is the innovative SpringLock system. By combining a custom linear high-tension spring with a two-stage activation mechanism, they have developed a system that provides high chain security when you need it, and can be turned off when you don't. To activate the clutch, turn the locking screw clockwise until it clicks into place. The screw cannot be over-tightened. To disengage the clutch for wheel removal, flip the switch. It's that simple.
