When the product managers were looking for better chainring options, the advantages of the super-compact version became clear: options in 47/32 for the Gravel market, 46/36 a proven cyclocross gear ratio, and a 46/30 wide-range adventure combination for long days in the saddle. For smooth shifting transitions, Easton has optimised the chainring sizes for application and reduced material overlap - these directly mounted Gravel and CX chainrings save up to 45 grams while enabling more range.
