1" Sensor + Advanced Low Light Performance
The MISSION 1 PRO uses a 1" sensor (1.0 type), which is larger than the sensors of most smartphones and many compact cameras. The larger sensor allows for significantly better performance in low light with less image noise than smaller sensors - ideal for cinematic shots in all conditions, including dusk, indoors, and night shots.

HLG HDR Video

High Bitrate
The MISSION 1 PRO gives you the option to record videos with a high bitrate of up to 240 Mbit/s when your project requires maximum detail fidelity and highest image precision. Alternatively, you can use the standard bitrate to reduce file size.

10 Bit Colour + Log Encoding
Choose between standard video in 10 bit or 10 bit log encoding with GP Log2. With the ability to display over 1 billion colours, 10 bit colour provides greater colour depth, smoother gradients, and more realism in your videos. With GP Log2, you also have the option to retain more details in highlights and shadows and make necessary image corrections in post-production. A suitable lookup table (LUT) is provided for this purpose.

112°-157° Field of View
The MISSION 1 PRO expands your creative space with a field of view from 112° to an impressive 157°, allowing you to capture more of the scene in every shot and immerse your audience deeper into your story. Choose between the digital lenses linear, wide, or superview - ideal for expansive landscape shots, everyday scenes, or immersive POV action shots.

Timecode Synchronisation
Creators working with more than one compatible GoPro can synchronise their cameras with exactly the same timecode to significantly simplify multi-camera editing. The feature is compatible with Final Cut Pro®, Adobe® Premiere®, and other editing software, helping to make post-production more efficient.

50 MP Photos + 44 MP Framegrabs
The MISSION 1 PRO captures photos with up to 50 MP in single shot, interval, and burst modes. You have the option to let the AI automatically optimise the settings for night and low light shots. Additionally, you can extract impressive still images with up to 44 MP from 4:3-8K videos using the GoPro Quik app.

4K Zoom
Zoom up to 2x to capture the perfect shot while maintaining the quality and precision of the 4K video resolution. Or get even closer to the action with 4x digital zoom - all without having to change your position or equipment.

Night Effects
The MISSION 1 PRO offers three night effect modes that allow you to get creative after dark. Star trails utilise the rotation of the Earth and the movement of stars to capture stunning light trails in the night sky. Light painting allows you to create glowing brushstroke effects with moving light. Vehicle light trails use nighttime traffic to create spectacular light trail shots.
