BEYOND POWER
One could say that Wild has the strongest motor or the largest battery capacity on the market. But one doesn't have to. Wild takes us beyond such trivialities into the world of Beyond Power, where riding is what matters most, where the trails are endless and full of flow. Leave heavy, insensitive e-bikes behind and become Wild.
Secure Battery System
Taking the battery out to charge it? That can be convenient. However, this feature also brings many structural disadvantages for the frame. For example, additional parts are needed for mounting, which not only make the bike heavier but also more complicated. Moreover, removable batteries require large openings or cutouts in the frame. Depending on the solution approach, compromises must be made in one way or another. Such as through additional material use, lower stiffness, or a higher centre of gravity. Additionally, rattling covers can spoil the riding pleasure.
Sealed, Integrated Cables
Thanks to the SIC system, the cables are routed invisibly and in the best possible way through the headset, the integrated guides, and Orbea's Cable Pass from the cockpit to the rear of the bike.
Clean Cockpit
With a glance at the tidy cockpit of the WILDS, you would hardly think that you are sitting on a E-Bike. The remote is wirelessly connected to the display in the top tube. All other cables run invisibly through the headset. Thanks to the SIC system, they are perfectly protected.
The traction of a 29er with optimised chainstays
The integration of a motor often leads to the undesired use of longer chainstays. The result is a more rigid, less agile handling. To mask this effect, many manufacturers opt for 27.5-inch wheels. However, this compromises the crucial traction at the rear wheel for powerful e-bikes.
