With the rear-wheel brake and the V-brake at the front, the bike offers two effective braking systems that ensure maximum safety. The height-adjustable handlebar and saddle allow the bike to be individually adapted to your child’s growth and ensure long-term use.

A specially developed kids’ saddle ensures optimal seating comfort, while the wide handlebar enables optimal control and safe steering behaviour. The low step-in and upright riding position make it easier to get on and off and promote an ergonomic posture while riding.

The PUKY Safety Set, consisting of handlebar pads, a bell, safety handlebar grips, a closed chain guard and a side stand, provides additional safety and practical functions. The durable powder coating on the frame ensures a long-lasting appearance and protection against corrosion.

The bike is supplied with a woven plastic handlebar basket, which not only offers practical storage space, but is also break-resistant. Your child can take toys or other treasures along with it without any problems.

• Child-friendly ergonomics: The low frame step-in and the low standover height make it easier for young riders to get on and off safely at traffic lights and crossings. This means the feet land back on the ground quickly, which is a helpful factor especially for inexperienced riders.
• Weight-optimised components: Aluminium has long been proven as a frame material for bikes. Light, robust and rust-free - three key advantages that set aluminium apart from steel. All our YOUKE models feature a high-quality aluminium frame, as well as other weight-optimised components such as handlebars, cranks and rims.
• Standard and child-friendly V-brake: In our YOUKE models, we use a standard and child-friendly V-brake on the front wheel. This provides good braking performance and ensures optimal modulation of braking power so the rider can come to a safe stop. Compared with conventional V-brakes, crashes caused by overly strong, abrupt braking performance are avoided. In addition, our YOUKE models are equipped with a Coaster-brake (rear-wheel brake)
• Rear rack: All our YOUKE models are equipped with a stable rear rack to securely attach and transport smaller items. WARNING: Even if it seems very tempting to transport another person on the rear rack, this is strictly forbidden.
• Height-adjustable saddle and handlebar: To ensure good ergonomics and the longest possible service life, on our YOUKE kids’ bikes the handlebar and seatpost are continuously height-adjustable. This means the bike adapts continuously to the small riders’ growth.
