The S11 generation of the GT Shell jacket is water-repellent, windproof, and breathable – the three crucial features that make a versatile cycling shell for the whole year. In summer, it can be stowed in a jersey pocket in case of threatening storm clouds or long, cool descents. In the transitional period, it can be worn over a medium-weight Spring Fall jersey for weather protection and thermoregulation. In winter, it forms a final bastion over the winter jacket that protects against extreme wetness. This shell not only keeps out precipitation and splashes but also wicks moisture from the inside, preventing a stuffy, damp microclimate in summer and a moist, clammy cold in spring, autumn, and winter. The extended collar and hem protect the neck and keep out splashes, while ultra-elastic cuff inserts seal at the wrists or over gloves.
