Description
Rugged stone fields, gnarled roots, and steep, technical climbs – the brand new Trance X 29 is designed for those who look forward to the toughest trail sections the most. With more suspension travel and adjustable geometry, this bike is always on the hunt for challenging singletrack fun.
This brand new 29er has one mission above all: It wants to help you master even the toughest trails faster and with more flow. For this, it features a stable and stiff aluminum frame with 29-inch specific geometry and a plush suspension with new, improved tuning. The Maestro rear suspension now offers 135 mm of active travel, which perfectly matches the 150 mm fork. The Advanced Forged Carbon rocker arm features a flip-chip that allows you to adjust the geometry and thus optimally adapt the riding characteristics to your riding style and terrain. You can adjust a steeper/flatter head and seat angle and at the same time adjust the bottom bracket drop to 30 mm or 40 mm. The entire bike is perfectly tuned to its 29-inch wheels and offers plenty of tire clearance (up to 2.5 inches) so you can enjoy maximum grip even on rough trails.
29er for Confidence and Control
29-inch wheels roll very balanced and stable even in rough terrain. This allows you to carry more momentum into the climb and gain confidence to let the bike really fly on fast, rough singletracks. Thanks to increased tire clearance, the frame accommodates tires up to 2.5 inches wide.
Progressive Suspension
The new Maestro rear suspension is equipped with a trunnion shock mount that allows for more travel and better responsiveness. You have 135 mm of travel available at the rear (as well as 150 mm at the front), and you can adjust the geometry in two positions via flip-chip. The “Advanced Forged” rocker arm provides more stiffness and stability while reducing weight.
Adjustable Frame Geometry
The lightweight aluminum frame features adjustable geometry with a head angle of 66.2 degrees or 65.5 degrees and a seat angle of 77.9 degrees or 77.2 degrees. Depending on the setting, a bottom bracket drop of 30 mm or 40 mm results. This allows the bike to be perfectly tuned for fast trail fun.
