Thanks to the best materials and uniform wall thickness, the Schwalbe tube retains air for an above-average duration. Quality control for safe riding pleasure: Each SCHWALBE tube is double-checked for air retention at the factory.

Every Schwalbe tube is 100% recyclable. The recycled butyl rubber can be used in the production of new tubes without loss of quality. Used, unsorted tubes are the raw material for recycling. In Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, Schwalbe supports the return process of old bicycle tubes with a collection system that end consumers can easily and freely participate in. Each new Schwalbe standard tube already consists of around 20% recycled material. Schwalbe is continuously working to increase the proportion of reused material without adversely affecting the quality of the new tube.
