The S11 generation of the GT Shell jacket is water-repellent, windproof, and breathable – the three key features that make a versatile cycling shell for the whole year. In summer, it can be stowed in a jersey pocket in case storm clouds threaten or long, cool descents are ahead. In transitional weather, it can be worn over a mid-weight spring-fall jersey for weather protection and thermoregulation. In winter, it forms a last bastion over the winter jacket, protecting against extreme moisture. This shell not only keeps out precipitation and spray but also wicks moisture from the inside, preventing a stuffy, humid microclimate in summer and a damp, clammy cold in spring, autumn, and winter. The extended collar and hem protect the neck and keep spray out, while ultra-elastic cuff inserts seal at the wrists or over gloves.
