Description
This downhill racer with a carbon frame and world champion pedigree is back: featuring 200 mm of revised Maestro rear suspension and numerous options for adjusting geometry, rider position, and rear wheel size. The new model has been developed over years and is now dominating podiums everywhere.
RACE-PROVEN SUSPENSION
The new Maestro suspension, developed in collaboration with GIANT engineers and professional athletes over several years, provides 200 mm of active travel for optimal speed in race situations. The rear suspension is combined with a fork featuring 203 mm of travel* that ensures outstanding ride feel and perfect control on the most extreme DH race tracks and trails.
FLEXIBLE ADJUSTABILITY
Three flip chips provide unprecedented adjustment options. The Maestro flip chip with three positions allows you to adapt the frame geometry to your riding style and terrain. Next, a new headset flip chip adjusts the reach so you can easily achieve the perfect position. Finally, you can adjust the entire wheelbase and handling characteristics with the flip chip for the rear dropout.
REAR WHEEL OPTIONS
Choose between a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel. All models are delivered with a “mullet” setup, which many riders prefer. The smaller rear wheel provides an agile ride feel and more space between the saddle and tyre at the rear. If you prefer the roll-over speed and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can easily swap the rear wheel.
