The Ruut series was born out of the need for a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for bikepacking and long-distance rides, but also has a distinctly sporty character. At Rondo, all competitors - they ride fast, they race - but they don't need a bike for the CX World's. What Rondo expects from a drop bar bike is that it can ride long and fast, especially on rough roads. After over two years of development, they have created a tool that they believe is the ultimate solution for real-world riders.

All-rounder for beginners
The RUUT AL2 is a great all-rounder for beginners. It is the perfect choice for a winter training bike, a commuter bike, or a first gravel bike. The frame is made from lightweight and robust aluminium in new, sleek colours. The components have been selected and tested for reliability. This includes the user-friendly REVER MCX flat mount brakes, the same V2 forks as on the higher models, a simple and reliable 1x11 drivetrain, an FSA crankset, and mud-resistant WTB Nano tyres. This bike is responsive and has elegant internal cable routing for a clean finish. We guarantee that you will rack up many miles with this model.
