Silca Speed Chip Chain Hot Wax

Speed Chip is the first choice when you need the absolute fastest option available. It is the choice of Visma Lease a Bike for time trials and one-day classics. Speed Chip is a fully synthetic wax made from the same exotic base oils used in SILCA Synergetic. This is the absolute fastest wax ever used in a bicycle lubricant. It is mixed with three sizes of submicron and nanoscale tungsten disulfide flakes to further reduce friction and ensure wear resistance. Proven in tests, Chain efficiency is permanently increased by up to 0.6 % compared to the SILCA Secret Blend Hotmelt. The only downside is the more frequent lubrication intervals (see table for details).
