Newmen Streem Time Trial 80 VONOA Carbon, Centerlock, 12x142 mm, Shimano HG - black

In time trials, only one thing matters: maximum speed. To achieve best times on flat triathlon courses and time trial tracks, we have developed the new Newmen Streem Time Trial wheels. The wide carbon wheels with an 80 millimetre profile height are, according to our aerodynamic measurements in the GST wind tunnel, the fastest road set we have ever built. But not only in terms of aerodynamics do the Streem TT.80 VONOA with internal aero valve and carbon spokes rank at the top, they also belong to the lightest material in this class at 1620 grams.

Uncompromisingly tuned for optimal aerodynamics: With the Time Trial TT.80 VONOA wheels, we complete our Streem family with a lightning-fast aero set for time trial bikes and triathlon use. The shape of the 80 millimetre high carbon rim with hook is designed without compromise for low air resistance and optimal sailing effect in crosswind situations. As our aerodynamic measurements in the GST wind tunnel show, the fastest setup for time trials and triathlons is achieved with 25 mm tyres and the internal Streem aero valve. To have more comfort on bad roads, the Streem TT.80 can also be ridden with 28 mm wide tyres thanks to its 22 millimetre internal width – without significant aerodynamic losses. We also use the proven, minimalist Fade R hubs with their quiet freewheel and the Aerowide carbon spokes in the TT.80 aero wheels. The VONOA carbon spokes not only weigh 40 percent less than comparable steel spokes, but are also significantly stiffer. This allows the front wheel to use 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes create a stiff rear wheel.

Tubeless or with tube: Streem Aero Valve Kit and Tubolito tube included

For less air turbulence and a saving of 1.5 watts at 45 km/h, we also rely on the integrated aero valve in the Streem TT.80, which completely disappears into the carbon rim. This works both with a tubeless setup and traditionally with a tube. Therefore, the complete STREEM Aero Valve Kit as well as a 36 gram light Tubolito TPU tube, which can also be mounted hidden in the rim, are included.
Like all Newmen Streem wheels, the two TT.80 versions also had to withstand dozens of hours on the test benches in our in-house test lab until they reached series production. In addition, all Streem VONOA wheels are handcrafted at the company's headquarters in Wiggensbach. This means that we offer a 3-year warranty and a lifetime crash replacement (50% off RRP) on all Streem aero wheels.

Each Streem wheel is delivered with a complete Streem Aero Valve Kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape, and a Tubolito Tubo-Road tube.
