Velocity Quill rim 700C - machined - Black

Velocity describes the Quill as its most innovative road rim to date. Using construction details from the Aileron disc-brake rim, the proven road rim A23 has been further developed: the Quill is 17.2% wider on the inside, 26.2% stiffer on the sides and 99.3% stiffer radially than the A23. With an outer width of 24.5 mm and an inner width of 21.1 mm, it offers high lateral stiffness as well as more ride comfort and control even with a low spoke count. The 25.5 mm profile height creates an aerodynamic profile and brings advantages over earlier rim brake models in terms of performance and durability. With 21 mm wide Velotape, the Quill can be set up tubeless easily; Veloplugs are not recommended for the Quill.
