Sidewall reinforcement, fast-rolling centre profile, aggressive cornering behaviour, and an extremely durable construction – this is the tyre for XC trails that mix hard terrain with root structures, stones, and puncture-causing trail debris. The Mezcal XC Trail is designed for speed, where air is not lost just because you take a hit to the sidewall.

The continuous centre line features offset lamella extensions to multiply the number of edges you drive up the path, and the rear lamella at the shoulder knobs are angled to allow for fast cornering on hard, slippery surfaces. Whether climbing, cornering, or descending, no tyre is better suited than the Mezcal.

Graphene-4C compound
Rubber enriched with graphene in a graduated scheme of four mixtures across the rolling surface and the shoulders. Two stabilizing base mixtures increase puncture safety and create a foundation for climbing, braking, and cornering loads. The trail-side mixtures reduce rolling resistance, increase traction, and provide a grippy ride feel in switchbacks and off-camber sections, whether wet or dry.

XC Trail TLR reinforced 120-TPI casing
The XC Race TLR is a reinforced racing casing that combines a durable, supple 120-TPI nylon construction with additional protection at the sidewalls. Responsiveness, dampened chatter, and a smooth trail feel with some extra puncture safety – when XC gets dicey, the XC Trail TLR kicks in.
