Platzangst Accompanied the German gravity sport half an eternity and found its origin in the German east, more precisely in Eisenach around 1999. André Horak was sorry to sit in Spandex clothing on the mountain bike and began to cut his own pants from fabrics from commercially available terrace awnings. The driving force and help was his grandmother, who was a seamstress. At the beginning, a pattern was made from an old bed sheet and adjusted it until the bike pants were perfect. André Horak then found a manufacturer who sold the remaining stocks of Cordura awning and the story of Platzangst.
