Description
PF30a is a Cannondale specific standard for 73 mm wide bottom bracket shells. This CeramicSpeed kit is designed for cranksets with a 30 mm axle.
CeramicSpeed bearings are installed in two cups and connected through the housing via spacer tube. There are versions with standard and coated bearings. Both feature high-precision CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel raceways.
The CeramicSpeed coated bearings have an additional feature: a 3-micrometer thick metallic layer over the raceways. This layer makes the raceways harder and smoother, reduces resistance, and increases ht lifespan.
