The EDDY CURRENT by Schwalbe is regarded as the "indestructible" tyre for E-MTB – developed for maximum load, high torque, and uncompromising performance off-road. With a new label design, it remains the first choice for all who rely on absolute reliability at the rear of their E-Mountainbike.

The rear version is still available in two sizes as a radial variant and has been consistently adapted to the requirements of modern E-MTBs. The previous addition "Rear" is omitted, as only one optimised variant is available (64 mm instead of previously 65 mm) – clearly positioned and technically refined.

Massive tread blocks ensure maximum propulsion and braking traction. Even on the steepest climbs, they reliably transfer the enormous motor and pedal power to the ground. At the same time, the large-volume centre studs ensure long durability and high wear resistance – ideal for intensive E-MTB applications with many elevation metres.

With the EDDY CURRENT, Schwalbe also combines performance with sustainability: The tyre is made with recycled carbon black (rCB) from its own tyre recycling as well as with fair-trade natural rubber (Fair Rubber). Thus, it stands not only for maximum robustness and traction but also for responsible production.
