The Evolution SL R.35 is the perfect road wheel for ambitious road cyclists looking for convincing performance, durability, and aerodynamics at a fair price. With a total weight of only 1750 grams, the aluminium rims are ideal as an all-round road wheelset for any terrain – from hilly to flat.
The 35 millimetre high rims of the SL R.35 are made from robust, high-quality aluminium and feature a classic hook design (as hookless is not safe at road pressures). The aluminium rims were developed based on flow simulations and tested in a wind tunnel. With an external width of 28 mm, the Evolution SL R.35 offers convincing aerodynamics, specifically optimised for tyres up to 28 mm wide.
The affordable aluminium wheel achieves the same aerodynamic values in combination with a 25 mm tyre as the high-end model Streem C.35 with a carbon rim. The durability and stiffness of the Evolution SL R.35 are ensured by the FADE R SJ hybrid hubs and 21 proven Sapim spokes pro wheel. The FADE R SJ hubs provide a mix of straight pull and J-bend spokes and guarantee a quiet but efficient power transfer.
