Finest aluminium, specific rim profiles for front and rear wheels and an excellent price-performance ratio: The new Newmen Forge 30 family offers durable, modern aluminium wheels for every mountain bike category. For the trail wheelset, we combine different variants of the impact-resistant Forge 30 rim, the proven FADE MTB hub and high-quality Sapim Race spokes. This allows the Newmen Forge 30 for trail riders and touring cyclists to achieve an outstanding balance of durability, weight and price.

Light up front, durable in the back: As with the Newmen MTB wheel series Phase and Beskar, the new Forge 30 family also employs the modular wheel concept for front and rear wheels. The less stressed, lightweight front wheel saves weight, while the more robust rear wheel ensures stability and reliability on singletrack adventures. By using two different rim variants (Light and Base), we can offer perfectly tailored MTB wheels for trail riders. The 30 millimetre wide, hooked Forge 30 rims are made from high-quality aluminium, feature a pinned connection and come with pre-installed tubeless rim tape.

The new Forge 30 rims use the same impact-resistant profiles as the top aluminium wheels Beskar. In developing the new rim generation, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. In addition to the well-known angled design, we have further optimised the rim shoulders. This makes the impact-resistant 30-millimetre rims even more resistant to pinch flats. At the same time, the rim profiles are shaped as flat as possible to generate plenty of grip and comfort in combination with modern MTB tyres.
