The entire system is 355 g lighter than the previous generation and with 14.2% more torsional stiffness and 14.8% higher pedal stiffness, it is also more efficient – so you feel an immediate response when you pedal.

Sustained Speed
The new Propel Advanced SL has been designed for full compliance of the entire bike, providing a noticeably smoother ride, whether you are riding in a group or accumulating training miles. The integrated Vector seatpost is 25% more compliant than that of the previous generation. The fork and integrated cockpit absorb shocks and vibrations at the front with 15% higher compliance. And thanks to the additional tyre clearance, you can fit tyres with a volume of up to 32 mm, further improving ride feel and helping you maintain higher speeds with less fatigue.

Top Speed
The frame, cockpit, wheels, and tyres form a cohesive system that reduces overall resistance when you ride at high speed in the wind – whether you are pulling away alone, riding at the front, or tackling a climb. The AeroSystem frame and integrated cockpit minimise air resistance, while the new CADEX Max 50 WheelSystem and aero tyres reduce rolling resistance. When you add up the linear air resistance, the rolling resistance of the wheels, and the rolling resistance of the tyres, there is a total energy saving of 18.4 watts.
