Description

Our childhood should be a great adventure, and the Big Foot 12 is the answer to that. It is an important companion, which with its low-slung frame with a standover height of only 31 cm is just right from the start. A robust diamond frame and forged dropouts ensure that shocks and vibrations, which would make the bike restless, are effectively dampened. It is also equipped with the worry-free all-around package, as all bearings are maintenance-free sealed, and our frame, fork, hubs, rims, handlebars, stem, and handlebars are made of lightweight and corrosion-protected aluminum. But the Big Foot 12 feels just as at home in nature on forest paths, which is why Early Rider has equipped it with 2.25'' balloon tires that absorb every bump. Not to mention the anatomically shaped Ritchey controls, which are of high quality and round off the bike

Suitable for children with a body height of 87 cm to 103 cm (approx. 2 to 4 years old)

The Big Foot introduces itself

With its lightweight 6061 aluminum frame, knobby 2.25" tires, and smooth Tektro brakes, the Big Foot is designed for adventure from the start.
Its comfortable, finely tuned geometry promotes safety, confidence, and riding technique, while high-quality rims, hubs, and tires ensure a smooth ride and optimal grip in all conditions.
Thoughtful design focuses on sustainability, durability, and performance – a robust, eco-friendly choice that inspires children to cycle for many years.

Progress from the first moment

Even with a balance bike, even for a toddler. Because a finely tuned geometry is the difference between a lifelong enthusiasm for cycling or a balance bike that they leave aside.
Good geometry, what excites us so much, means safety, confidence, progress, and of course fun. It is a science and an art, and something we have perfected in 18 years of pioneering children's bike design.

Lightweight aluminum, beautifully crafted

The Big Foot is handcrafted from 6061 aluminum. And it's not just the parts you see – we use more steel and plastic through aluminum than anyone else.
Aluminum has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any metal. It is corrosion-resistant and has a flexibility that makes riding a pleasure. Moreover, it is 100% recyclable. All this makes our Big Foot and Charger models the best for your children and for everyone they are passed on to.

Role model

The Big Foot is equipped with market-leading aluminum rims and hubs to save weight, and with high-quality, sealed ABEC cartridge bearings to minimize weight and rolling resistance.
By using such high-quality wheelsets, we can invest the weight in tires that provide the safety and performance that make the difference without burdening them with a weight disadvantage.

Step with Caution

The Big Foot is equipped with 2.25" wide tires – the same width we use for our large children's bikes. This additional stability really helps small children learn more easily. The extra space allows us to pump more air, smoothing out rooty, rocky trails for a smoother ride. The knobby tires provide extra grip in wet, muddy conditions. All this means more control, more confidence, and more progress, no matter the terrain.

We are Control Freaks

The Big Foot is equipped with an anatomically shaped handlebar-stem combination from Ritchey – complemented by a powerful, smooth-running Tektro rear brake with a short lever. This way we provide maximum safety and control at the cockpit.

Because control is a matter of trust. Ritchey Logic has been at the forefront of component design for 50 years. Tom Ritchey, their tireless president and chief designer, is considered one of the pioneers of mountain biking. For over ten years, we have been working closely with Ritchey to develop the best child-specific components – and to make our bikes even better.

Sustain-Ability™

Extracting materials from the earth to manufacture bicycles is not sustainable – especially with children's bikes that often do not even outlast a single child. The answer from Early Rider? A radical approach in design and manufacturing with a clear goal: to create bicycles that inspire long-term, promote development – and last a long time.
The goal: to inspire child by child – with bikes designed for durability and enabling children to develop the skills that will allow them to ride a bike for a lifetime. In other words: an uncompromising focus on form, function, and durable, high-quality components.

And equally responsibility for all those involved in the production: through safe working conditions, promoting the well-being of our employees, supporting communities, and respecting human rights throughout the entire supply chain.
