Pirelli Cinturato GRAVEL RC X, 28" - black

Based on the success of the Cinturato Gravel RC, our very first Gravel racing tyre, we have developed an even stronger version: the Cinturato Gravel RC X. This model features the new Techwall technology, with an additional bead-to-bead protective layer. The Cinturato Gravel RC X retains the characteristic tread design of our RC models and is designed for gravel racing on the most demanding surfaces.

SpeedGRIP:

• The new SpeedGRIP compound retains the same polymer matrix and improves rolling efficiency. The higher demand for speed or mileage at the same effort on gravel, with a combination of asphalt, gravel, and aggressive terrain, as well as a mix of uses - from racing to packing
  to adventures - prompted the technicians at Pirelli to optimise this new rubber for better energy management.
• The SpeedGRIP compound retains the same tear resistance as its MTB counterpart (SmartGRIP) and features high chemical grip (also referred to as wet grip). Through more efficient energy management, rolling resistance is reduced to a level very close to that of pure road racing tyres.
• The properties of the new Pirelli compound formulation SpeedGRIP are tailored to any weather condition, whether the terrain is dry or wet. In developing the Scorpion ™ MTB rubber formulation

TechWALL X Gravel : 

To develop a tyre that meets all the demands of Gravel racing on challenging surfaces, our engineers combined the technologies of road-specific reinforced casing with MTB-specific technology. This mixture led to a tubeless-ready construction that features a reinforced and cut-resistant 60 tpi fabric that extends beyond the tread line, as well as a bead-to-bead protective layer. Despite its improved puncture protection, the Techwall X Gravel casing offers high rolling and riding comfort.
