With this tool, you can install and remove cogs and lock rings from 12 to 18 teeth. Compact and useful for expeditions.

The COG1218LS is a compact chainring tool that easily fits in a gear bag. The hook on one side can turn cogs from 12 to 15 teeth, the lock ring with the chrome plates, and the hook on the other side can turn cogs from 16 to 18 teeth. The number of compatible gears is laser-engraved on the housing. Please check this before use.

The wear-prone plate for the lock ring is replaceable, allowing for lifelong use. Use a Phillips screwdriver to replace the plate. To prevent loosening of the screws, we recommend using LOCTITE Threadlock 222 or Threadlock 243.
