The most robust mechanical DEORE XT derailleur of all time promises reliable, solid performance for every discipline. It is based on a modern derailleur hanger and a new, flat and wedge-shaped design to avoid impacts on the trail. Should it still touch stones or roots, a spring inside the derailleur ensures that the impact is absorbed and the derailleur is returned to its original position. With a gear range of 510%, the RD-M8200 derailleur is suitable for every ride – from Enduro races to all-day tours. Combined with a 10-51Z cassette, it offers an especially large gear range.
