Description
Easton bottom brackets were developed for use in combination with the new Easton EC90 SL crankset.
The internal testing procedure at Easton included the development of a 24-hour continuous water invasion test, where essentially water flowed continuously into the side of the rotating bearings for a whole day.
They then used a new, thinner bearing grease with lower viscosity and modified the percentage of grease filling to find the perfect balance between durability and minimized running friction again.
