This exceptional wheel was designed at the foot of the French Alps and built in our workshops. It was developed, tested, and approved by the riders of the Mavic DH team on the most demanding World Cup tracks. The Deemax DH 29 features a 30 mm wide welded rim specifically designed to absorb strong impacts, shocks, and other vibrations, providing maximum safety on uneven terrain. With the Deemax DH 29, aggression is fun – and vice versa.

Equipped with 28 J-Bend spokes made of butted steel, the Deemax DH offers the ideal balance between robustness and compliance for maximum performance on the most demanding descents. The spokes are designed to be easy to repair, allowing you to get back on track quickly and avoid a cumbersome pit stop or workshop visit. Each wheel comes with two spare spokes for added security.

To meet the demands of the DH track, the double Blackshield treatment offers two levels of resistance against impacts from stones and scratches.

The wide rim shape makes it easier to mount DH tyres with cross-sections between 2.0 and 3.0 inches, providing riders with exceptional flexibility in adapting their tyre configuration to the conditions.
